    "Thoughts On Disaster Survival"

not sure if this has been posted before, but here's a good read about a prepared individual during Katrina and many of the things he experienced with the do's and do nots.

That was a good link and read

Good information and a good read. My Wife and I rode through our
3rd Tornado last year and like the gentleman in this story we learned many things of which we have now implemented in our own Emergency Preparedness Plan.

    Thanks for the info.

The following is a thread which I posted back in March 09 with a few pics as well.

Excellent read and so much good info there. One point I found of interest was the team concept where you bug out with a team of friends and family in order to better survive. Having members of the team dedicated to certain tasks like watching the kids, trading/gathering food supplies, and security is an excellent idea.

I wish I had more like minded friends. Most of my friends and their significant others are more worried about what movie they're going to see Friday night rather than being prepared.
