Ammo: Lake City M80 149gr Ball
Wind: 16 MPH (Gusts over 20MPH)
Range: 200 Yards
Rifle: HK MR762
Scope: Nikon M308
Ejection: 4:00 @ 10 - 12 Feet and very consistent
Clean-up: 10 minutes, but I'm anal so it took me 20
The wind was a lot stronger than I'd have liked on Saturday, which threw me off as it was steady with strong gusts. None of these groups are fantastic and most of them are the result of me or the wind.
I put around 50 rounds total down range on some of the groups overlap to an extent, so I won't post them all. The one's you see below are the worst and the best with the others being somewhere in between.
I took it out again today to the 100 yard range just to verify zero and it performed equally well at that distance. I shot 40 rounds today at the 100 yard line and the smooth recoil made it a pleasure to shoot. The two stage trigger on the MR762 is pretty good, it is no Geissele, but good enough where I don't think I will need an upgrade.
The most remarkable part was how utterly clean the rifle was after shooting 50 rounds of 762 M80 ball. The last two shots are of the bolt face before and after cleaning. I'm fairly certain M80 isn't the cleanest ammo on the planet.
