Any astigmatism issues?
Any astigmatism issues?
I don't have an astigmatism. Generally all dots are pretty clear for me. The uh-1 is very clear to me eyes. Being a holographic sight, if someone focuses ON the reticle it will look fuzzy. If one looks through the sight and focuses on the target (like you should be) the reticle is extremely clean and crisp.
I just got UH-1 together with new Vortex Micro 3X magnifier for review. Actually have strong astigmatism issues with most red dots (that id why I prefer LPVO), but not with UH-1. And Micro 3X works very well for me as well. I also like mount with same QD lever as UH-1 uses and very positive detent in both positions. I have one minor issue, that it is easy to turn focus ring grabbing magnifier to move it in and from position.
Back to UH-1, I never particularly liked Eotech and always preferred Aimpoint, but UH-1 grows on me

For a money I do not know better combo of magnifier and mount. You can imagine better glass, but who uses RDS + magnifier combo for glass? Mount is good, easy to put on and remove (same lever as on UH-1). Moving magnifier in and out of position is really easy and fast (I'm not fan of push button designs). One thing I do not like is short eye relief. I'm used to scopes like Vortex Razor 1-6x or Kahles K16i 1-6x with decent eye relief. I could mount magnifier further back, but then I can't have my flip up sight under it. So I need to have stock almost completely collapsed. But that is matter of my personal preference.
