TRUST were you on my squad?
I ran a shooter today with th BC and I was impressed with the lack of side blast. There were other shooters with other brakes that were much more painful as an SO.

In response to fullmetalredhead regarding legality in CT; the BattleComp is considered by Cal DOJ as a muzzle compensator not a flash hider and as you know Kalifornia is quite draconian with anything firearms related. We do not market it nor claim it to be a dedicated flash hider. We recommend checking with your local authorities on laws specific to your area just to make sure you don't have any issues with your local laws.

We have been told Connecticut also recognizes the BattleComp is a legal compensator.
FWIW, it IS a compensator, rather than a flash hider.

Sure, we all understand the reality, but we're talking about Connecticut here. You know, the state that outlaws bayonet lugs to reduce the incidence of drive-by bayonettings. Serious though, given that there is a 10yr prison sentence for violation of the CT AWB, it's always good to triple check these things.
10 years is a very long time to serve over a matter of semantics. I would suggest getting a copy of your current AWB related laws, do some light reading and then have a chat with your local authorities just to be sure the BC complies.

Hey Rob! yeah, that was me on your squad... (Jon F.)
Had fun shooting with you guys and I dig your BCM setup!
I may post a video of me running the BC1.0 but i'm a little gun shy given the skill level of the company in this thread, lol.
I have a video of you running the last stage that I need to forward you as well. (once it finishes uploading)
who do i PM a technical question to?
I'll keep that in mind...
The Hornady TAP was really the one I thought would work out. It is not only lower powered, it also has significantly more flash suppressors in it that the SSA ammo does. I could see using the standard SSA, the muzzle flash was noticeable but not really distracting. The tactical loads shot a flash that completely filled the AimPoint.
Yup, and the concussion was very loud and tiresome since I was inside a shooting booth. After 100 rounds I really didn't feel like shooting more. With the BattleComp, I was still raring to go after 100 rounds.
Video of me using the BC1.0 yesterday. (also notice the uber cool BCE hat, haha)
