Cop lies repeatedly claiming cameras back him up on the false claim his intended victims committed a theft while bragging about how they had everyone under total surveillance.
Fortunately his intended victims have means.
If it was “100% a lock” like the cop said, I don’t know why the summons and talk of court, obviously that would not be necessary… just throw her in jail, who the hell needs due process?
He tried to talk her in to confessing to something she didn’t do and it didn’t work.
Are you surprised at this tactic?
Not at all surprised that many cops will lie and try to get peons falsely convicted.
It’s also possible she did the crime.
How did she do it?
Essentially he’s got nothing, but he’s playing Poker now and bluffing, just throwing Charges Against the wall hoping one will stick.
It’s at this point stuff becomes dangerous.
If She’s guilty, she will say he’s wrong and go back in the House. She’s likely played this game before and She knows he has nothing or she would be under arrest.
If She’s innocent She will stand out on the pourch and try and plead her case.
In either case he’s accomplished nothing, clearly none of his evidence will actually hold up under scrutiny.
Here’s my opinion;
This guy got frustraited and took what evidence he had and said to himself,
A) I can arrest someone, if I can find them, but I don’t really have shit to go on.
or
B) I can go scare someone on the off chance it is them and they will stop this BS…
I’m pretty sure he went with choice B.
Bad choice, there were a lot more subtle ways to handle this than confronting her.
With a little smooth talk and a bit of schmoozing he could have eliminated her as a Suspect and Questioned her as a Witness.

Also you are saying someone not knowing a specific residential street address is proof they did anything a cop accuses them of.

Luckily for her she has a Rivian that recorded her doing something else other than what she was accused of so the gang members gave up on extorting her.
Because she was wearing a wig (if the information about being blone is accurate) when stealing then put it in the house or left it in her vehicle. Wouldn’t you?

There is a picture of the lady the police were hoping to victimize as well as a picture of the porch pirate that the police posted online. The 2 aren’t as different as some other incidents*, but the pictures of 2 different women are why I asked how she recovered from the plastic surgery so quickly.
I haven’t seen video from the Rivian, but apparently it was beyond indisputable considering the police gave up. That takes in to consideration other incidents* where police have tried to keep the persecution ball rolling against people who were decades apart in age, not even the same race, and other non matching details as the person the police claimed to be looking for.
The real question is, are you insane or retarded? Only someone with a mental defect could think she looks like the actual perpetrator in the side by side picture.

The photo eliminated her if the cop was legitimately looking for the porch pirate, but for what ever reason that didn’t seem to be the primary interest.
If she hadn’t been driving a vehicle with cameras there is a very good chance she would have been screwed.

There was no reason for the lady to have to interact with the cop either, but he forced it.
The apparent lack of anyone at his agency calling him out on his behavior seems to be a problem that isn’t unique to his agency.
