Just wondering if anyone has purchased an Aimpoint micro from Botach.I just received mine and it came with all of the paper work but no box???
Yes, over the past 3 months I have purchased 2 T-1’s and 3 M4s’s. All were from Botach. I paid $486.40 each plus shipping for the T-1’s. That was their price of $608 with the 20% Aimpoint coupon applied at checkout. However, last week they bumped the price up to $633 and discontinued the 20% coupon. That coupon had been in place all of last year.
All five of my purchases were received in an Aimpoint box and packaging and obviously unopened condition. I am guessing yours was a return?
Botach is hit and miss. I have had generally good luck with them but I have buddies who will no longer do any business with them due to bad experiences. As always, YMMV.
AK.
I purchased an H-1 from them in Sep or Oct of last year for $400. No box, or mount. All paperwork included. Bikini, tool and screws were included also. There’s a locked thread called "Whose got the best prices in a H1/T1 nowadays " IIRC. The answers you seek are there.
bought 3 T-1’s from them.
All of them GTG.
Likely it was OEM packaging. I bought a T-1 from Larue that came packaged the same way.
Yep same here. I bought the package deal from LaRue with the LaRue mount. Not dissing them but I wish it would’ve come with the stock mount. The T1 now sits on my Mossberg and the stock mount had to be purchased separately.

It would have cost more money.
I got a couple T-1 micros from Botach delivered this week.
They were as described, in a plain bulk pack with no OEM mount, but the price was unbeatable.
I happen to be mounting these on Ultimak rails on a couple SGL-31s, but fortunately I had a couple OEM mounting bases from a couple H-1s I got in retail packaging (which went on to DD 15003 mounts).
But back to the Botach supplied T-1s, they are legit warrantied Aimpoint products, Botach didn’t swipe the retail box and mount, that is how they were supplied.
Thanks for the replies.
Do a search on this website for “botach” and see what comes up. It should make you think twice.
I’d rather pay an extra $100 for a T-1 with a decent laure mount and responsive customer service than 'deal with botach ever again.
got a t-1 from Botach a year or so ago, shipped it right out and the price was right. I called them ahead of time to make sure they had some in stock. they can be hit or miss sometimes.
Yep, ordered a T-1 from Botac. Order arrived in a timely manner with the product as expected. Price with ADM mount was unbeatable.
Have had other orders go awry with them. “Hit and miss” is an appropriate characterization of my experience with them, but if the “deal” is sweet enough I can tolerate some frustration. Other times, not so much.
Hit or miss is one way to describe them.
Dishonest is another.
People usually have great experiences with them…right up until they have a bad one.
Don’t say you weren’t warned.
I avoid Botach like the plague! I was enticed by their prices at first but after a couple very frustrating transactions I stay far away from them. I experienced miss-shipped orders and orders that did not show up for months. If you have any problems good luck getting anyone to help you. Luckily my orders were small things so it wasn’t that big of a deal. I would never trust them with any real amount of money, like an Aimpoint purchase. I know others have had better experiences. I would say they are more “miss” than “hit”.
I was set to order about $600 worth of parts from botach a few weeks ago. I emailed them to make sure they were in stock since they have a bad reputation for not stocking items but taking orders anyway. Long story short they lost my business because they didn’t have most of the items in stock. I don’t even browse their site anymore, because it’s a waste of time.
Yep. It’s been years, but I wouldn’t give them my money again. Maybe I’m holding a grudge, but…
I suggest that anyone ordering from Botach to call and make sure the item you’re ordering is actually in stock.
For in stock items, I haven’t had any issues with them. However, I ordered another item from them, and wasn’t told for several days that the item was out of stock, and that they didn’t know when they would be getting more in. And all of this was after I emailed them to ask them about the status of my order.
I was just about to order a Aimpoint with a few pieces of gear. Probably around a $800 order. I actually was just checking their site to see if I wanted to add to my order… But reading this thread & seeing how many people had bad experiences with them, I definetly don’t want to be that fool who lost a almost a grand just because I wanted to be cheap instead of hearing the warning screaming from this thread. I definitely don’t wanna hear “We told you so”:suicide:
