I’m guess the general consensus here is no, since I rarely seen any posts about these “upgraded” BCGs. Are they not liked because they’re new and not combat proven?
I think the consensus is that colt spent a ton of cash and hired the right people to figure what weight the buffers and bcg should weigh to make the m16 work and the m4 work.
This would be more of a competition item. You would probably get more info on it over at Brianenos.com. JP is a competition company generally speaking and they seem to do a lot of r and d in that area. For the most part people who use their stuff like it.
