S&W M&P 3.6 threaded barrel?

Is there a threaded barrel that will work with the S&W M&P compact 3.6".

If not, will a S&W M&P compact 4" work in the 3.6 and give enough length to thread? I’m thinking it is too short since the .4" difference is not 1/2" as in 1/2x28.

If that won’t work due to the length for threading, would a full size barrel work and be able to be cut down?

Thanks.

Their barrels are also fantastic.

Thanks!

They are listing that as being for a 3.5". I was searching for 3.6". That’s why I couldn’t find it. I’m sure that is the one that is compatible.

Not correct. The 1/2 refers to the outside diameter of the barrel which is 1/2". The 28 refers to the number of threads per inch.

At $230 to $250, those barrels better be fantastic. At that price you’re half way to a M&P 2.0 with a factory threaded barrel and suppressor height sights.

Here’s one a bit cheaper, but still to rich for me. I know nothing about the quality.

I do not think the KKM barrel will work with the 2.0 Compact, as its designed to replace a 3.5" barrel, which only ships in the 1.0 Compact.
The Apex barrel is designed for the 2.0, just not sure if it will work in the 3.6" version. Apex is top notch, and should be contacted to see if that
barrel will work in the slide made for a 3.6" barrel.

The 2.0 has a 4” barrel.

What m&p has a 3.6?

The 2.0 compact comes in 2 flavors, 4.0" and 3.6" barrels. Apparently OP has a 3.6" version, per 1st post.

I hope the O.P. is successful in finding a threaded barrel for the 3.6" M2.0. Sounds like an awesome suppressor host. Post pictures, please.
