What I learned.

So i watched this video and learned a few things.

1. That the M16 failed in Vietnam because of the rain.
2. That the AK-47 never misses its target.
3. That the Russians take great care to not bury their rifle in the water/mud/sand.
4. That America failed at making an auto shotgun and instead had to swallow our pride and sign a contract for the Saiga to be supplied in the thousands to US police
5. That the makers of this show have no idea about the history of the M16 and don't seem to know much about anything really.
6. That the afghans never ever ever clean their rifles.
7. That the AK never jams.
8. That the AK can be dropped from 2.5M and suffer no damage, by far one of the toughest tests ever. So tough everything else fails.
9. That mikhail is better than stoner because he outlived him.

Overall the video was entertaining but had some really big propoganda russia vs US parts to it and the "experts" at the gun club need to brush up on their history.

sorry but most everything in that video was false, like the AK never jams, and the AK never misses its target.

There were others of course, it was a good piece of propaganda for uneducated people.

Well, the shooter misses the target, not the weapon. Maybe. AKs, however, do jam.

10. The AK is better because it is assembled by a mostly female crew who are better at this sort of thing than men.

11. The AK is good to use to shoot at a tank.

12. The AK shoots a heavy pounding bullet.

13. Hugo Schmeisser had nothing to do with the design of the AK. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Obviously nothing. Are you kidding? Nothing. Nothing! The Soviets would never, never use a former Nazi engineer. Why would the Soviets employ an experienced and talented German when they had their own man who had absolutely no weapons design experience and no engineering education right there at the same weapons plant? Preposterous!

14. The Kalashnikov can survive the firey re-entry from orbit. In fact, one from every production batch is loaded, launched into orbit then de-orbited. Upon to return to earth they weapon must fire. After it cools of course. Even a Russian can't shoot a red hot gun.

I planned to watch about 5 minutes of this video as I ate my cheesecake. It was so amusing I watched the whole thing. Five pieces of cheesecake. Ugh. I'm so full. Stuffed. I'm glad the video wasn't an hour long. Burp.
